This January, Jane Street is excited to host our INSIGHT program in Hong Kong! We’re inviting students who identify as women, transgender, and/or gender-expansive to spend three days in our office learning more about roles within our firm and how we solve challenges at Jane Street, including the specific concepts and tools we use in our daily work. Selected students will arrive in Hong Kong and depart according to their track dates. Jane Street will provide all travel to and from Hong Kong, as well as meals, housing, and a variety of social events. Out-of-pocket program-related expenses may be eligible for reimbursement.

We are experiencing a period of growth across the firm as we look to invest in and support the most ambitious founders in the Asia-Pacific region with a data- and AI-led approach. To continue this trajectory, we are now searching for a driven, technically grounded investor to join our software investing team. This role will work closely with one of the firm’s Partners in an apprentice-style model, supporting full lifecycle investing activities—from sourcing and diligence through to post-investment value creation. The role is based in Singapore and will focus on investing in software and AI companies at the pre-seed to pre-Series A stages, with a heavy index on evaluating founders, product, tech stacks and early market fit. This investor will also have the opportunity to dedicate 20-30% of their time towards building AI-native tooling and workflows for the firm, driving improvements in data-led investment decision making and portfolio management.

As a Software Engineer at Alloy, you'll build the core product used by thousands of professional product teams to prototype and ship their ideas. This is a high ownership role in one of the fastest-evolving problem spaces in the history of software. You'll need to own problems end-to-end: understanding the user pain, shaping the solution, implenting it across the stack, and shipping it. You'll work closely with the team, but you'll also be expected to have strong opinions, move fast, and sweat the details that make the product feel special.
